5:34 the 2 layers of clouds seem to head toward opposite directions !! Simultaneously. Is the top layer one what is called "jet stream" ?
I'm not an atmospheric scientist but I think so, I see aircraft contrails (which usually cruise at jet stream altitudes) blowing at that altitude in that shot. In general the wind can blow in many different directions at the same latitude/longitude depending on the altitude. Check out this cool tool which shows winds (and other stuff) in (near) real-time. earth.nullschool.net/
2:45 the 4 laser beams are all targeting the same object, what is it ?
That's the center of the Milky Way.
They use the lasers to calculate the atmospheric pollution. They then subtract it to rectify the final images.

Why do observatories shoot lasers into the sky?
